My heart breaks
I'm in shock & my heart breaks for your Elizabeth (our "Lizbiz"). I'm so, so very sorry. It always hits us hard on the board, as we do get to know people who post and they feel like family. As well as it reminds us of what we're up against.
Your wife was a dear woman who fought hard and loved everyone.
May God give you comfort and get you through this very difficult time. Yes, of course, her love will always be with you. I know that she is surrounded by complete love in a better place now, even though that thought doesn't help those she leaves behind. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Take care and thank you for letting us know.

In Shock
My jaw literally dropped reading this. I'm so stunned to hear this. I remember her telling us it was going to be some kind of major surgery but I just figured she would pull through and we would hear from her soon.
She sounded so hopeful - I finally got to hear the "joy" in her post, that she had gotten a chance at surgery and to get better.
I'm just devastated as I write this - angry and sad at the same time. She went by LIZBIZ on the board, and on one of my posts, she had commented that something I said "made her feel a little less alone" that night - one of the most heartwarming responses I can remember. She had been so despondent and hearing that she felt a little better, made me feel better.
We all cared about her and were hoping so much to hear from her that things had gone as planned. Reading your reply is a big shock.
I wanted to thank you for letting us know of her passing - all of us certainly appreciate that, especially during your time of grief. Please accept my sincerest condolences to you and your family on the loss of Elizabeth...I'm just really speechless about now.
Thank you for being a good caregiver to her - she touched many lives here in this world - never doubt that.

Deeply saddened by this news
I followed Elizabeth's journey very very closely. It mirrored my sister's story so much. I read every post and was excited and hopeful about her big surgery. I know she too was excited at the prospect the surgery could bring to her and never in my imagination did I think she would not survive.
I am deeply saddened by this news and am crying reading this post. I suppose it offered hope for all of us on this journey. I know Elizabeth fought hard and maintained an upbeat and forever optimistic and the strength to keep fighting.
You are in my prayers and I know she loved you too, and forever will.

I am so sorry. I knew Liz
I am so sorry. I knew Liz was having the procedure- she wanted so much to beat this beast and moved forward everyday with so much hope. So much hope of happier times ahead. We all march forward with Liz's fight in our hearts and soul, her battle is also ours. God's love and peaceful memories to you and yours. *hugs from Minnesota*0 -
My deepest condolences
I am so saddened to hear of your loss.I am kind of new here on this site so I didn't have the pleasure of knowing lizbiz very well but I have read her profile and the things she said in it touched me very much.
Peace and love to you and all of Elizabeth's loved ones.

Dear Elizabeth
I will miss your pm's to me. I had so hoped that the surgery you were so looking forward to so you could finally get this monster under control would work for you. It was a huge surgery but you wanted it, full steam ahead. The lunch I was so looking forward to having with Elizabeth when we realized how close we lived to each other now will not happen. My heart is broken. Rest in peace dear Elizabeth, no more scans, tests and disappointments. To her husband, Elizabeth loved you very much. I am so sorry things did not go the way she had so hoped they would. Now is the time for you to take care of yourself knowing that you two did all you could in this journey.
Sincerely,
Tina and George

Elizabeth was and still is one hell of a woman, I cared very much for her, and in reading the comments on her facebook, I was hoping she would get better, I can't believe she went into respiratory distress, how very sad, I know she was looking forward to this surgery, as I believe she was inoperable like I was, and then that HIPEC option opened up for her. I hate to hear this news, and I wonder what would even cause that bile leak.
Thanks for keeping up the farm for her, and her mafia wars, I'm sure she appreciated that, she did really like those games, I will miss her on farmville.
My condolences to you and your family, she was and is a beautiful woman, inside and out, and must go and have a good cry now. Thank you for letting us know the news.
Hugssss!

Please accept my sincere
Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Elizabeth. I have been thinking of her a lot lately + had hoped to see a post from her telling us she was doing well after surgery. She sounded excited about her upcoming surgery, as well as nervous. She was a brave woman + I am so sorry she had complications from the surgery. Thank-you for letting us know; I am so sorry for the pain you must be feeling. Thank-you for your words of encouragement.0 -
