Bag vs. Neo Bladder
Since we have successfully gone thru four months of chemo therapy. Now we have to face the Bag vs. Neo Bladder decision. My husband is a strong and active 69 year old. He wants to return to snow skiing, bowling, gardening and swimming with his five grandchildren. He has handled the nephrostomy tube with a totally healthy attitude. He has been told that he can safely return to all of his previous activities with the "bag". We have read several comments on the Neo Bladder and the recovery and are wondering why so many people are so adamant anti "bag".
Please share why the "neo bladder" with its potentially compromising results and longer recovery should be considered. We really do want to know. Thank you, Neeni

BBrookshire - I hope you find what is needed to be comfortable with this decision. It is not to be taken lightly. I wanted to just suggest to go to Smartpatients.com and browse "neobladder" and see what you come up with there. I like this site, but this particular section is not very active and I just wanted to make sure you got the input from others that you are seeking. I got a few people to respond to me within the same day on that site. Here, might be a while. Blessings to you too.
