After hair loss head is red and sore

Now that most of my hair is gone,my head is sore & itchy. It gets especially sore when I wear my wig for hours. any ideas how to relieve this discomfort.

    I don't know about sore and itchy, but you should be wearing a wig cap under your wig to help keep it in place and to keep wig net clean longer. You can get wig cap in any wig store. I prefer the mesh ones because they have more traction when it connects with wig net. Most wig caps are like stocking caps and they tend to slide.

    To help with scalp soreness,
    To help with scalp soreness, I've been using cocoa butter soap on my head. Radiation doctor suggested for my chest and boob area where I am receiving radiation..it works well on my scalp.
