I read some where that Gemzar may make Erbitux effective for patients with the KRAS mutation. If you are already getting the Gemzar maybe slipping in a treatment or two of erbitux would help.

Hi John,
Thanks for the tip! I think we will start this as planned for now & after I scan again, we'll evaluate whether it's working or not as is. I will remember to mention this to my onc. next time I see him. Oh, man- Erbitux was baaaad for me- I looked like a walking pustule (there goes that theory that if you get the rash bad then that means it's working, since I'm kras mutated). But, you do what you gotta do & I'll remember this. Thanks.
