Hello
I use liquid Vitamin E that comes with a dropper. I put a few drops on each breast and rub it in with my fingers. My Pharmacist also recommended Mederma which I have been using at night. It is expensive compared to the Vitamin E but I have noticed a difference..
Good luck!0 -
i have found 100% lanolin
i have found 100% lanolin effective. i like it because is a totally natural animal product. i think i have a sensitivity to many products that contain petroleum by-products. i got my local pharmacy to order a small container from their supplier. it's going to last me forever, tiny bit goes a long way. nothing against vit E but i never can figure out what is made from.0 -
Carlson's Vitamin E Elite
I buy Carlson's Vitamin E Elite which is the actual vitamin in capsule form. I prick the capsule or sometimes cut the tip of the capsule and squeeze the capsule so the vitamin comes out on my finger. Then I apply it to the scar.
Many years ago I also did this for a scar on my face - did it for 6 months straight. I had a mole removed by a plastic surgeon and the scar was long. Today you cannot see the scar.
I also did this with my breast scars. They look pretty good.

I don't know where you live but in the west there are stores called Trader Joe's. They sell a small bottle of Vitamin E oil in their personal products section. So easy to smooth right on.

They also sell the liquid Vitamin E at most health food stores, and at Walgreens. I used it years ago on a C-section scar, and it is not even visible now. (That was 40+ years ago, and the C-section scar was vertical...belly button down.) I have also used it on the scar where my port was removed, and the incision scar for the lympectomy. Those two are slowly going away, but have to think it is age that makes the difference in how scar tissue reacts to anything. Good luck. All of the above ideas sound good. Hugs, Judy0 -
VITAMIN E
Well after all my reconstruction was completed, I started using SCARGUARD, it is a liquid you put on the scars twice a day for about 3 months. I have been using it for 2 months and I can see a big difference, it helps with the thickness of the scar. Main ingredients are: silicone, cortisone and vitamin E. I got it through my PS but you can get it also online. For the pigmentation, I am using Hydroquinone cream, you apply it also twice a day, (I am doing both right now, so I do each once daily). It is working!0
