My Peggy
Wow - the big day is here already, huh? I wish I could sit there with you, but will be there in spirit for you, dear Peggy!
You made me laugh when you told me and Phil to "get our **** up to Chicago." Coming from you, I know how that sweet that is But, I did want to tell you "thank you" for those kind words on that post. I know I can speak for Phil here when I say that we both appreciated that you would think of us in such a kind way. Phil is a brother to me and I know he and I feel strongly for the support we try and give. I'm honored to be considered in his company.
You have always been so kind and supportive - now that's it your turn in the barrel, I will be thinking of you and the successful outcome of your surgery and that health will be returned to you - and you will be well again.
Thanks for being you - Tex loves ya' - now go grow a new liver!
Look forward to hearing how it all goes - my fingers are crossed (X).

WooHoo!!
Liver resection...something many of us dream of and few of us achieve. Congratulations on getting this far. My prayers will be for an easy, successful surgery and recovery. I will be waiting as patiently as possible for your sister's post.

The time is almost here. You must be nervous as all get out. If you are taking I94 in your journey, I will think of you Saturday as you pass through Michigan. My daughter lives in Chicago, Bucktown area.
Best wishes to you that the surgery goes smoothly and your recovery is without incident and as pain free as possible. I put your blog in my favorites so I can keep up with your recovery.
Take care and have a safe journey to New York. Tina0 -
Safe journey
Wishing you a safe journey to NYC and a couple of fun-filled and pleasant days in the city prior to your surgery. I don't think the weather will be cooperating this weekend but at least we are not expecting SNOW!
I will most definitely be thinking of you on March 17 and will come visit you after...
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be at your back.
The sunshine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again---
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.0 -
Hi Peggy
Been thinking of you lots as your surgery approaches. I hope it all goes well and I look forwarded to connecting again when you are back. In the meantime here are some words of blessing from Joyce Rupp...
May the skills and knowledge of those
who are caring for you be used
to the best of their ability
in returning you to good health.
May you trust in your body’s ability to heal.
May you have compassion for any part of your body
that experiences pain and discomfort.
May you befriend your fears and be freed from all anxiety.
May you be at peace.
We send love and vitality to you.
Receive this loving energy from our hearts to yours
and be strengthened for your journey toward healing.
Peace and blessings... Rob; in Vancouver0 -
wishing you all the best
Peggy,
I hope for the best and will also be praying for that for you- also that your daughters will be alright and stay strong emotionally while you're gone. I know as a mom that's one of the hardest parts- worrying about our kids, especially in our absence.
I think you'll be fine & as you said- this is your journey on to HOPE!
Take care,

I am so happy that you are getting to have your resection. That is such a huge step towards NED. I hope that your surgery is without any complications, that you experience the least discomfort possible and that your healing is swift. We will all be anxiously waiting to hear from you when you are up to it.
Take care,
