Mammograms

How are your mammograms looking these days? My CT scan picked up some asymetry (tissue etc that is present in one breast but not the other), so my gyn/onc did a breast exam (found nothing) and sent me downstairs for a mammogram. He said not to worry about it, but having already been struck by lightening once (OVC), how can I not?

I don't recall seeing in anyone's profile that their OVC had spread to their breasts. Or did I just not dig deeply enough?

    January
After a two years I had a mamm January of this year after skipping out last year due to all the stuff. It was clear, but did have me a little nervous since I wasn't aware before the OVCA of the higher risks involved.

    Correlation
From what I've heard and been told, there is a significant link between Ovarain cancer and Breast cancer. I have a LOT of real estate to work with up top, so I'm being watched pretty closely...

I have no history of breast
I have no history of breast cancer - one great aunt who had a double massectomy way back in the 20's or 30's and she lived another 50 or 60 years.

I am scheduled to have blood drawn on the 24th for the BRAC testing. My doctor does not think it's necessary (no family history of either OVC or breast cancer) but I have a daughter and 4 granddaughters, so I insisted.

I told my husband, if they find anything suspicious I am going to ask that they just take them both off. New, perky breasts.....hmmmmm. Sounds ok to me.
