Adding to "favorites"

If I add a thread to my favorites, will I get any "new" responses that are added after I add it? I guess I could test it to get my answer but thought someone may already know the answer. Thanks!!

    Not so much
    From what I can tell, adding a thread to Favorites just allows you to find the thread more easily, but the only way to tell if there have been any additional posts to the thread would be to click on it from Favorites, which will take you to the thread.

    It would be nice to have something that told you when a post was made to a particular thread, but if it exists, I don't know how to do it.
