I am 28 and a mother of three small children. I am so scared to go through this transplant and don't know what to expect and haven't read any good stories. Thank you, Natalie

    Hi natalie
    I had a stem cell

    Hi natalie
I had a stem cell transplant in 1999, it is a scary thought.. the fear of the unknown... you hear a lot of stories.. I had a difficult time but came out the other end and now 11 years on I lead a normal life, try not to listen to all the scary stories, the science and the doctors are excellent and they know what to expect at what stage.. just trust your doctor and take each day as it comes and each day you will get closer to the other side
    best of luck
