Life after my 1st chemo

Preparation is important
I'm glad you were able to get a hold of your doctor, and I'm sure you've tested the new numbers they gave you by now.
Before I started my 1st chemo, my doctor had given me Rx's for 3 different anti-nausea meds. Zofran, which I was to take regularly regardless of whether I felt any nausea, and Ativan and Compazine to take only as needed. I was lucky and never really needed anything other than the Zofran.
Ask your doctor if they can give you some other meds to have on hand for your second round, and the suggestion of getting anti-nausea through the IV is also a good one. I was also getting Zofran in my IV prior to each infusion, which I'm sure helped me.
I'll be praying that your second round goes much more smoothly than your first.
Take care,
Cindy0
