Can anyone guess what this may be

MRI showed a small 1.2cm abnormality in the liver that did not “light up” with contrast.

It is of unclear cause. I had surgery for Stage 1a lung cancer. Could this be a mets?

    Spots on liver
    I have been told I have spots on the liver that are harmless hemangiomas. (sp?) Of course I know nothing about your history so I would hate to venture a guess. Please have this checked out by your doctor, if you are not already in that process. Good luck to you.

    My mother has spots on the
    My mother has spots on the liver that keep being written as "mets" although they are not. They appear to be harmless fatty cysts. Many many adults have fatty spots on their liver by middle age.

    I spoke with

    Sorry Annie60.

    I spoke with my surgeon, She said she is not concerned about it at all. I go to family dr. next week. We followed up with an mri of abdomen, they said unknown eitology. It's still a mystery.
