Hi all,
Well, the funeral was yesterday. It was beautiful, if a funeral can be. It was so conforting. I am truly exhausted! I do miss him so! I know he is in a better place. I did't mention it before, but we had lost our 21 year old son 6 years ago. I know Dan is with him now. That is my peace.I wrote a few words that were read at the funeral. I hope all of you who have lost a loved one can find comfort in them. "I don't cry because it's over, I smile because it happened"

thanks
Weezie,
Those are beautiful words and I am writing them down to keep in my kitchen to remind me to be thankful no matter what the circumstances. You are so brave and to come on and tell us so soon after Dan has passed shows what a strong brave person you have been and what a comfort to Dan you must have been. The added sadness of losing a child is one that I can't say I understand since I have not had that but know that is the hardest loss of all. My prayers and thoughts have been with you and your family and I will continue to pray for all of you in these days that follow. Thank you for sharing those words and your feelings. take care, prayers always,
