Breakthroughs?

So, I've researched most of the standard and "up and coming" treatments for colorectal cancer with multiple liver mets including chemo/biologic treatments FOLFOX, FOLFIRI, Avastin, Xeloda, Erbitux; targeted radiation - Theraspheres/Sir Spheres, Cyberknife. My question is are there folks out there who may be getting treatments that are promising but not quite main stream yet? Maybe involved in one of the more that 600 clinical trials going on specific to metastatic colon cancer? Just looking for things that may be promising that I haven't found yet.
