It was obvious that
Kathy,
It was obvious that you and Al shared a great love and nothing any of us say can begin to comfort you at this moment. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and I hope you will continue to stay in touch with your family here on the boards.
You were always there for Al and fought a brave battle. We all have the hope and comfort of heaven and knowing that Al is free of pain.

I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear
Kath,
I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear of your loss. Al had a special place in my heart. As I am typing this, I am in tears, and at a loss. Kath, you were a great caregiver, I am of the belief that God exist, and that he has a heaven and I'm sure all is no longer suffering and he is free of this horrible disease. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. And please keep in touch with your family here on CSN, and consider me part of that family. My heart is all in pieces right now...

I am very sorry to hear about Al. You were a wonderful caregiver and I know that Al fought so very hard until the end. Please know that Im hear for you even if its a late nite phone call, a shoulder to lean/cry on. Take one day at time.
God Bless,

Dear Kath,
I am sitting here crying as I read this, I did not go online yesterday so just found out. My heart goes out to you and your family and glad that they were here and be with Al when he passed. He is not suffering but it is you on earth who will be missing him and healing over all this. You were such a good wife and caretaker and you and Al both tried to fight this terrible disease and gave it your best. My prayers will continue for you and your loved ones.
Al we will all get to meet you someday, rest in peace. love,
