    Dear Earl,

    I see you have posted a request for help under the Merkel Cell site - do you have this cancer??? I am a 3+ year survivor and when intially diagnosed I was a stage III. My name is Audi and I am now 57.....please, respond since I am very interested in this cancer....and perhaps I can be of some help.

    Merkel Cell cancer
    Hi, I was diagnosed with Merkel in November of 2007. It was found at he top of my head, The Mayo surgeon removed it and grafted skin from my breast. Then I had six weeks of radiation and it healed very slowly, almost a year! I go back every 6 months now for check up and so far doing very well. Where was you cancer located and how often is your check ups? I am 85 years young and walk briskly most every morning. Thanks for replying at my request. Earl

    I was just diagnosed with merkel cell
    Just got back the results and now thy want to do a full cat scan and then go back in the left groin area and cut more out. Anyone ever been to MD Anderson in Houston tx. I think after the cat scan I will get a second opinion. gail shep124@hotmail.com I am scared as can be. Am 61 and want to live long enough to get aleast 1 SS check paid in for 40 yrs.

    just got the bio back and had a ct scan no results yet, the doctor say it is rare and thy don't have much experience withit so on mon. I an going to have the doctors send me to MD Anderson cancer hosp. in houston. what do I need to expect. thy took a lump from the groin about the size of a hen egg, said it was bgger and deeper than first thought
