An acquintance sent me this link to a story about a short opera co-written by and performed by a colon cancer survivor. Our acquaintance is a family member of the other co-writer and told me that although the story doesn't say so, Rickard was a Stage IV patient. I hope you enjoy this short article. I did.

Wow and his friend really saved his life!

2nd opinion
I feel like a second opinion on my surgery saved my life. I knew I had colon cancer, but the scan was not conclusive on the liver, and the surgeon was ready to resection without knowing what he was going to find. After a second opinion, another scan with contrast, I had my colon and liver resectioned, and lymph nodes (10 of 32 with cancer) removed. I have been NED since 8/05 and credit the second opinion.0
