Cystoscopy, fulguration, Mitomycin C

Hello folks. I was on these boards 4 years ago but changed email address and couldn't remember password, I think my old user name was JD_Smith58. But anyway. I've been dealing with bladder cancer tumors for 4 years now. I've had many removed via cystoscope fulguration and many times I've been anesthetized for the procedure. The last 2 checkups resulted in fulguration of a tumor cluster. I had one done last week and was for the first time in quite a bit of pain after the surgery. I did the BCG treatment 2 years ago and only had one clean checkup. My doctor wants to try that again but I'm not going for it. With the side effects and not great results, I want to try something different. He suggested I try Mitomycin C, same process, different drug. Has anybody had these treatments? I have my first treatment next Wednesday and every week after that for 5 more weeks. I'm praying this works. It seems to be a little harder every time I get a check up.
God bless

Hi
Just posted question wondering why my doc has not prescribed these treatments for me. He says small tumor was cancerous, but very low grade and we do not need to do this treatment.. Familiar with any of this. I am not.

Hey Best, if you've only had one tumor, maybe it won't come back. My Doc told me they are like weeds, you pick one, you get one. Over 4 years I've had at least a dozen. I had BCG once, didn't really help, now I'm trying mitmycin starting tomorrow - can hardly wait.
Mine have all been low-grade, but cancer is caner.
Hope this helps - good luck.
