Any success w/ molecular profiling?

Hi everyone. I've been reading the boards since summer 2008, when my sister was diagnosed w/ stage 4 CRC, and am really grateful for the knowledge, support & hope expressed here.
My sister has the KRAS mutation,& has run out of standard chemo options. She recently participated in a Phase I trial that worked great for arthritis, but unfortunately not liver mets. Yesterday she had a liver tumor biopsy for genetic, or molecular profiling. They will test for 18 protein markers & 120 gene markers to try to find personalized chemo drugs to stop her tumor progression. I am wondering if anyone has had any success with this?
We live in E. Washington state, & I wasn't aware of this treatment option in our area. Her oncologist has ties to the cancer clinic in Scottsdale, AZ, & the actual lab work is done there. I apologize for not being able to send a link, but for more information, you can follow this path:
