Wish Me Luck!!

I am 4 months out from my last chemo treatment and I have scheduled an appointment with my hairdresser for tomorrow to have my hair colored. I have been without hair for months and have been wearing ball caps or scarves for 6 months now. I do have about an inch to an inch and a half of hair and I'm ready to discard the head coverings. I asked my hair dresser about the possibility of my hair not taking the color and she replied that she has not had any problems in the past at this stage of post-chemo coloring. Wish me luck and I'll let you know how it goes. Take care everyone and have a wonderful Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Yeah My Turn!
Enjoy the pampering! My favorite part of going to get my hair done is the shampoo before.
Do post pictures so we can all see-I hope it works!0 -

You go for it! I'm not sure I'm going to back to coloring mine yet....I kind of like the salt and pepper. I know you've been wanting to go "sans scarf" so I applaud you!

Hair
I am six months out from chemo and started coloring my hair about two months ago. I did it myself and it turned out great. I had been wearing ball caps too. It was such a great feeling of freedom to be hatless. My eyebrows came in black which is quite dark compared to my hair, so I tried lightening them with facial bleach- don't do it. I have tried it twice and half of my eyebrows fell out. Have fun with your hair!0 -
