Lisa, i know times are ruff this cancer is a beast, going after good people strong people and trying to keep them down, I am very angry. I hate that so many mother like me, and you and so many others on this board have to put this infront of our kids. I am happy you are able to spend a birthday with your daughter, cherish this time ( she will soon be a teenager, oh boy, happy days those are) you will have many more to celebrate with her, i know because i know you will bet this monster,
i have been scanning my brain and trying to figure out why we have this cancer, doesn't God know we have families to raise, i can't uderstand what message is being sent but i have to seach for answers, I survived one cancer 10 years ago when i was nearly dead, and it was to help my husband survivie his kidney, failure and I also was grant ten more years with my kids which i raised them 16 and 18, drug free, sex free , and good grades, dispite learning disablities and emotional scars of having very sick parents, So i have to believe there is a reason for this cancer, i know i have saved my brothers life, because when i was DX he(only 38) went for a Colonoscopy ,not covered by his insurance exception made because of me. , they found preancerouse tumors which they removed if not for this he'd would have waited possible for the age atwhich a colonoscopy was called for. My sister a year older than me also had tumors found and removed,.

So this may have been the reason, to save thier lives, i don't know. I am not sure what my point is but,
That we all must look to our family, friends, co workers fellow semi's, survivers and the like for purpose and advice and people like you Lisa, are there and staying strong and fighting with all that you have and in the mist of this you manage to carry out your most inportant purpose in life, raising your children and i say Yahoo to that and Yahoo to all parents grandparents and all on this board as we fight and find our purpose in all this.
