Break Time
Hi Kim
I had noticed that you weren't around much the past month or so - you would usually make your rounds each day and post, so I figured you were cutting back when I stopped seeing you.
Understandable of course, breaks seem to be a necessity at different points along the way.
I will miss you while you're away and treasure all of the wonderful conversations we've had - you've been so sweet and supportive.
And I didn't say, but I knew, that the reversal was not going as smoothly as you'd like it to - just something I picked up on. But the bowels are the hardest organ to settle down after major surgery...they just don't like their plumbing "re-plumbed."
If it makes you feel any better, TIME will help the reversal. It took me 2 years right off the top just to begin to sette down. If you watched my news video, I made reference to never thinking I would get better, I was so sick - that's the period of time after the bowel resection, and those were dark days.
So, get yourself a good rest and concentrate on getting better and recovering. I hope things will progressively get better for you. I look forward to talking to you again

Kim,
Enjoy the time with your husband and let yourself heal. That reversal surgery can be tough to overcome. Just give yourself the time you need. We'll miss you.
Kimby
but I think we all understand. I have to take a break every once in awhile too because this whole cancer thing can just take a hold of every aspect of your life. We all have to remember to LIVE too.
We love you!!!!
