    Mostly we mean Laughing out Loud when we use LOL. The confusion between the two has lead to some interesting stories for some of the ladies on here.

    Girls, don't forget my age - I'm older. LOL in my day was lots of love. Now, in your day LOL is Laugh Out Loud. Now it makes more sense.
