watched it with my daughters too
she seemed like the sweetest woman ever.
my daughters want us to get on the show- "Hey Mom, play the cancer card so we can get a new house" (as they heard me complain about my very small hosue with 20-year old ugly furniture and plumbing problems!!!)0 -
I watched, too
Yeah, that was an awesome show. The family lives fairly close to where I do in NC. Our Relay team had the opportunity to go when they were filming and participate in the "Relay" they staged for the show. We could have gotten money for our team for doing that, but the turnaround was so fast. We were notififed about 2 days ahead, and I couldn't arrange for anybody to get off work to go. But it was very cool to watch, and I think she made an excellent spokesperson for "our" cancer.
*hugs*

Gail - That's so cool that you got to see some of the filming. I live close by as well, but I didn't get to participate. I've met the builder - Hamerick -before. He is just as nice and sincere as he came across in the show.
