Good to hear from you!2bhealed said:WONDERFUL!
That is fabulous news!
Great to see you again.
Those same stats were given to me and I opted to not do the chemo anyway and am here 8 1/2 years later. Isn't that a great feeling when you beat the stats?
peace, emily
Hi Emily, good to hear from you again. I remember how kind you were when I was first diagnosed and all the useful info you gave me ... I took a lot of it to heart: juiced all through chemo, still eat mountains of organic fruit & veg, exercise (took up running post chemo), take numerous supplements, tried acupuncture, massage, reflexology, yoga, Reiki (you name it!), got myself on various prayer lists (Catholic, Anglican, Buddhist ...), drank gallons of pure water (still do), read widely about cancer/nutrition/healing, went to various retreats/clinics (inc Bristol Cancer Centre in UK and Mayr Clinic in Austria). Didn't need to give up red meat as I hadn't eaten it for years. Haven't tried any green powder yet (wonder if you can get it over here? Perhaps I haven't searched hard enough).
The strange thing is that, looking back at it all in retrospect, although I would much rather NOT have had cancer, it wasn't an entirely negative experience - something I never would have thought possible BC (Before Cancer).
Thanks again for everything - you were an inspiration!
