My boyfriend just had his first scan yesterday and his doctor emailed his results. The doc says things look good, but I am furious that he is communicating this important news via email. The email also had a couple of typos, which led to some questions about what he was telling us. I also thought I would feel more relieved. They did a CT scan and I questions why they didn't do a PET scan.
A little background.... I just lost my Dad on Thanksgiving Day to lung cancer. He was diagnosed three weeks before my boyfriend. I feel like I am in no shape to be the support my boyfriend they way he needs.
This is awful! Anyone out there dealing with two loved ones that have cancer at the same time?
