New Anal Cancer Board; Thank you Semi-colons

I just wanted to say thank you to my incredible semi-colon family. I have been so blessed to have found you. My dx is anal cancer but because there was no discussion board for it, I hung around here for a little bit, found my comfort zone and started posting. The acceptance and support has been nothing short of phenomenal! I love ya'll! Support for cancer patients transends the type of cancer. We all have similar needs regarding encouragement, hope, advice, humor, that occasional dose of reality, etc. However, the treatment and side effects for anal is specific and consequently, I decided to inquire about starting our own board. Mission accomplished! First postings this evening! I just wanted to let you know that, if not for your acceptance and sincerity, I am certain I would not have hung around long enough to see this to fruition. I hope you will not mind if I continue to participate on this board as well. I feel connected to so many of you and do not want to give that up.
Thank you Diane and Tina for dropping by the anal cancer board and commenting. I really appreciated that!
Blessings to all,
Joanne

Saw YOU Too
JoAnne
But I did not want to bust in on your new board - silly, I should have just to say hello...I saw it right after you opened, but hesitated...I wanted you to have all the limelight.
I'm so proud of you! What an accomplishment!
I'm glad you are still here too, just would not be the same without you, Darlin'
Sorry, I did not "stop in" and at least say Hi!
