What a nasty way to start the day! I don't have a clue how to get rid of that smell. I hope you find something very soon.

    Yuck
Oh that is terrible. I can't stand the smell of skunks and then to have ran over one with that smell now in your car. I would take it to an interior cleaning place and see what they say. Good luck!

    ICK!
Our elderly, toothless German Shepherd decided she was going to pick a fight with a skunk and got sprayed right in the face for her trouble. The smell was HORRIBLE! I had to shower and change my scrubs all over again before going to work that day and I still stunk. We had to bathe her what seemed like a million times. The stench finally went away. I remember many mentions of tomato juice online. I'm not sure how you would use this approach on a vehicle, though. I know when we were doing research online to find a good recipe to remove the smell, there were tons of suggestions, though.

    Good luck,
    Elizabeth

    Goodness
I haven't seen a skunk on the road in years. Guess increased population here has sent them all looking for new homes. I can remember being a little girl in the backseat of the car traveling with my parents and all of a sudden this nauseating odor would be in the air. I suppose most of the time we had the windows down 'cause we didn't have a/c in the car, so it was worse! I would ask "Daddy what is that smell?" and he would answer..."oh, somebody ran over a pole cat!" Are pole cats and skunks the same thing? I think now that the internet is at my disposal, I will just google it and find out. Sorry for your stinky experience, but it brought back a memory from long ago and made me laugh!!! Good luck with the smell removal.
    Blessings,
    Joanne
