Well it just goes to show the many different opinions oncologists have, which I have run into a few times now on other issues, but she said it was fine and encouraged it....so I did. The funniest thing was, at work I was going through chemo and everybody around me would be sick with colds or the flu and I never got sick once, of course I took many measures to stay clear of everyone. Do what you think is best for you, and it was tamoxifin I did the research on, I have never heard of the other drugs, my oncologist never gave me any other options either. Good luck!

Huh? After every chemo we get nuelasta to build up the immune system and keep us from getting sick while on chemo. Of course they want us to strengthen the immune system.
I was told to absolutely NOT TO TAKE VITAMINS or anything that wasn't prescribed by my oncologist......Nuelasta builds up white blood cells, to prevent infections..... -
