Starting chemo/work

Hi. I start chemo tomorrow, 6 cycles 3 weeks apart and I go back to work next Monday - I'm a teacher. Will I be okay in that environment? I will also discuss this with my Oncologist tomorrow, but the kids do stay sick!I don't want to get sick especially while on chemo!

    i would talk to onco dr chemo really lowers immune system i used a lot of hand sanitizer and avoided crowds . best of luck to you!

    Good luck..
    I know my oncologist said hand washing is the best defense..I also used that hand sanitizer a lot during my chemo treatments. I never got sick....I have a 10 yr old and Im sure he carried some germs home from school. Good luck to you and keep us posted.
