I haven't even started chemo
I haven't even started chemo yet, and I'm already dreading how I'll feel when my months of treatment are up. What then? Wait?
I'm one of those instant gratification type of girls. I don't like to wait and I want something fighting off those little buggers.
I'm so glad you're done with treatments, but, I'll pray that God gives you peace of mind. It'll be hard to wait for the next CEA or scan... but you can do it. )
ETA: See, Buzzard answered that one for me already, too!! YAY! They'll be fighting for another 6 to 9 months!! That already puts my mind at ease!0 -

That is super! Yes it is wonderful and a little scary, especially when you feel like you are now out there by yourself. But the freedom is wonderful. Enjoy life and start feeling new! Hugs

I completely understand what your saying about feeling nervous about ending treatments. I,too felt that way- As long as I was in treatment I was fighting hard. Then what- just wait and wonder whats happening in my body ???? I felt that way for a few months but each day I thought about it less. It is now over 2 years from my initial Stage 4 diagnosis and 1 1/2 years since chemo ended. I am NED and the nervousness does get better and creeps in only occasionally. Time will help you too.
So happy that you are finished. Try to take time to celebrate the end of this chapter.
Smiles,
Dawm0
