tumor
nothing will be known for sure until they get the tumor removed and tested to saee if in fact it is cancer if it is then she will be given options as to what treatment the doctor feels in the best route to go. Chemo infusion and/or radition the question to ask is has it gone into anyother organ if so which one how many lymph nodes are involved and what stage is her cancer if she has it at all.The important thing to remember is people live along time with bladder cancer and reasure her with love and concern. I am stage 3 colon cancer on chemo and my husband is stage 2 bladder cancer so we know what you are facing we will pray for your family.0 -

Possible bladder cancer
If it is bladder cancer, which has a high recurrence rate, then changing her lifestyle to reduce the chances of a recurrence is best - BCa has a history of high rates of recurrence.
If you haven't already done so, you may want to consider (bearing in mind that the WHO reckon that poor lifestyles contribute 70% causation to cancers):
daily exercise - 30' and up, the more vigorous the better
move to more (organic) veggies and fresh fruit
the less animal protein the better
the less dairy the better
the less sugar, alcohol and fast carbs the better
Supplements: as well as a good background multi-vit/mineral (I use www.uni-vite.com monthly packs), then up to 12g/day of curcumin+piperene, Vit D3, niacin, boswelia, astralagus, and white/green tea for anti-cancer; probiotics, beta-glucan or similar immune boosting pills.
I take or have taken graviola, spirulina, wheatgrass and pau d'arco tea in copious amounts.
My 'rule' is evidence-based supplementation with little or no known side-effects (nothing to loose).
I am a "terminal" G3/T4/N3 bladder cancer (BCa) patient given weeks to live 110 weeks ago, who has done a lot of CAM (complimentary and alternative medicine) which initially failed (my tumour returned after having been removed by surgery), I had chemo (from my hospice, where I'd gone to die).
I find feedback helps to see how I'm doing and as a motivator - indications of cancerousness by cancer markers (CEA, NMP-22), inflammation, and body composition (weight, muscle-mass, fat).
I'm sufficiently convinced by Dr Campbell of The China Study to have now gone vegan. See also the 'orthodox medico who's found that CAM works' of Dr David Servan-Schreiber (check out his "Anti-Cancer: a new way of life") http://www3.mdanderson.org/streams/MDACCFlvPlayer2.html?xml=publicEd/config/Anti-Cancer_cfg.0 -

Thank you for your post. You gave me peace of mind. You helped me to realize thatI may have more time then I thought with my mom. She found out this past November that she has Bladder cancer that has spread to her lungs. She had been bleeding for quite a while. Her doctor said nothing to worry about, so she didn't get to a specialist fast enough. She had a tumor removed, but the doctor could not get all the cancer. They said it is a very nasty, aggressive cancer. Didn't say what kind. Monday we will be told the results of a c-scan. That will let us know if the chemo is working. And I will ask for a name of the cancer. She is my best friend. I just want to curl up and cry most of the time. But I will never do that in front of her, if possible. She has hope, and I want her to keep it. God and hope will get us though this. I wish you the best also, again thank you.
