Been looking for you
Hi Libby: I wrote you on Dec. 7 and hadn't heard back, was getting very concerned. If you remember we had quite a bit in common. To my surprise I saw your post about a sinus infection this morningl I had one over Christmas. I took a Zpack and mucinex and was fine. I finished my chemo in Nov. CT scan still had lesions so doctor scheduled me for 2 more treatments. This time it is Gemzar and Carboplatin. If he had said cysplatin again I don't know if I could have done it. I have never been so sick as I was on that treatment. Anyway, I had the first one and the other is scheduled for Jan. 18 then a scan and we go from there. How have you been?> Have you finished your gemzar/cisplatin? You mentioned one time about keeping in touch by email. I would like that. Hope to hear from you soon.

Jean,
Here is my email address
jnlpack@comcast.net
I had not been on this board for most of December. It was a very busy month with Christmas, children and grandchildren and I had been sick with vomiting from last chemo and also with sinus.
Cisplatin has not been a favorite here at all, but so far gemzar/cisplatin has been working in spite of never being on schedule! I am either one week off or two. Two again this time due to taking meds for this sinus infection.
Let's do keep in touch through email too.
Thanks for asking.
Love,
Libby
