Responding well to Folfori + Avastin

**** got the results of his PET from Wednesday and it says that the one lymph node shows significant reduction in activity and appears to be responding well to treatment. No new activity!!! We are very pleased with this report. We hope he is heading toward NED or maybe even there. It mentioned that the little bit of activity could be from healing.
Thanks to all of you for your friendship and support!
Hou'oli Makahiki Hou! Happy New Year!!!
Aloha,
Kathleen

SO GLAD
To hear about ****. I went to Castle a few weeks ago for my 1st treatment and thought about him and wondered how he was doing. You know, he's my hero! I suppose going to the same doctor and being treated at the same facility makes me think that his outcome will be mine also someday.

NEDS
What does NEDS mean. I see it all the time but nobody has shared that with me?????? Congrads on slaying that giant. I'm have 9 more innings (like in baseball)... each round of treatments I treat as the first one so that I can get victory one treatment at a time...It hasn't been as bad as it could be. Worst thing...constipation!fatigue? I just take the time to sleep...

Meaning, "No evidence of disease".
We all want to be there one day.
I start chemo next Tuesday, so I have a bit farther than you. I'm into overtime I guess...Sorry about the constipation thing. I think I'd almost rather have diarrhea. Heck, I don't want either.
