Endometrial CA Advocacy Group Forming

Hi All:

I recently received a copy of the latest Gynecologic Cancer Foundation's Newsletter in the mail. It includes information about the newly-formed Endometrial Cancer Advocacy Group, and states that this initiative marks the first time that there has been a national endometrial cancer (EC) group whose purpose is to create awareness about early warning signs of EC and prevention steps, as well as to create a dialogue among women diagnosed with EC.

For more information, or to join the group, the Newsletter instructs you to contact Marsha Wilson, GCF's Director of Communications and Advocacy Relations at mwilson@thegcf.org or by calling 301-332-0117.

I thought I would pass this information along in case some of you might be interested.

Happy New Year,

MoeKay (Maureen)

What do you think ladies about asking for more RESEARCH - on UPSC and other aggressive endometrial cancers. If we all ask, maybe they will do it. We can reference this site as a treasure trove of willing participants.

I will be one to step up and request, and I invite you too!!

Glad to hear that a group is forming. I will be calling tomorrow for more information. Certainly not enough research has been done on any level with endometrial cancer. I'm considered Intermediate (Stage 1C, Grade 2) and there wasn't even a study available to me. All kinds for breas cancer but very few for endometrial.

    Happy New Year,
