One of my childhood friends, Robin, is going in for hysterectomy tomorrow. We both went through breast cancer this summer. She has had lumpectomy, another surgery to take more tissue samples, the 5 day rad treatment and now they have found a mass on one of her ovaries. I pray that the outcome will be no more cancer for her. May God bless all of us pink sisters.

    I'm hoping and praying that everything turns out benign for Robin. BC is more than bad enough without another cancer to worry about!

    I will be right there with everyone else praying for Robin that everything turns out okay for her. I am just curious how they spotted the mass on the ovary and what made them look for anything on her ovaries? I am new to all of this as I was just dx a week ago Friday. It is very frightening for me to think that cancer can just pop up anywhere in your body once you get it somewhere else in your body.
