Happy Holidays to you
Thank you so very much for your holiday wishes. I wish the same to you, Margi and Dan, and also to everyone who uses this board. It is a wonderful gift to be able to put everything we worry about aside and enjoy the holidays with family and friends, who are so worried and helpful to us all the year through.
May everyone have a wonderful holiday and a peaceful year ahead. Laura0 -

2009 has been the most challenging year of my life. In March my beautiful young sister was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 3-7 years to live. Then just 3 months later I was told I had a large lung mass and that it looked like I had lung cancer. Turns out I did NOT have cancer but it seemed like forever before that news came. Afterward I still needed a lobectomy which scared the living hell out of me, but you all were always there to help and to answer my questions.
I cannot tell you all how much this board has helped me through these darkest days of my life. My friends are all sympathetic but they don't know what to say because they haven't been there like all of you. Reading your stories of hope has helped me to deal with my sister's cancer as well as helping me through my own illness. Thank you all for being there for me, I wish I could repay you.
Much progress continues to be made in cancer research, let's keep hope for a cure alive in 2010.
God bless you all as I send hugs, love, and peace to everyone.0 -
Beautiful people!!
Dan, you and your wife are beautiful people with so much compassion for your fellow man. It is wonderful to have people like you on this site. May you both enjoy many more holiday seasons together.
To everyone on this site, Happy Holidays and continued progress with this horrible disease.
I received my Christmas present early, my great grandson, Maven Kristofer, was born 12/20/2009 at 8:09 PM. He is the most beautiful and precious gift I could ever receive. I'm hoping to have many years ahead to spoil him. I have my first scan on the 28th and will meet with my doctor on Jan. 8th to get the results. Praying for good news!!
Again, Happy Holidays to all and may God bless us all!!0
