When my son was two years off treatment I was working at a boarding school and we lived there as well. My son had spent from year 2 on living at that campus. As the economy took a dive I was being told I might not have a job for long. I stressed mostly about what this would do to my son, having to move from the only home he knew. Does anyone else have experience with this, my recollection was that everyone was telling me not to move him if that could be avoided, that he was just getting back his self confidence and dealing with his after-treatment panic attack issues. We did move as we had no choice and his anxiety got much worse, I am just wondering if anyone knows of any documentation that suggests avoiding changes in home, location etc during those first years off treatment. Thanks for any and all opinions.
