I'm sooo happy for you and your hubby. I wouldn't worry about the radiation right now. I had 33 treatments and got through just fine. We'll be here with support when you need it.
Hugs.

Hi misann,
I had a second cousin go through her diagnosis and surgery for breast cancer two months before I did, and I got this idea from her. Maybe it's one your husband can use since our caring men often need something to do to help out in this whole situation.
From the day I got the abnormal mammogram suggesting a biopsy, I started a "boob loop". I was a Montessori (preschool) teacher for 30 years, and was an instructor for several Montessori teacher training programs. My husband spent 25 years on the fire department and is an avid golfer. Therefore, we had a lot of adult acquaintences and friends. When they heard that I had breast cancer, many asked to be added to the information loop.
Whenever I had something coming up or had just received results, I would send out an email to my "boob loopers" as a group. That way, our household was not inundated with calls and our friends were kept abreast (haha) of my condition. I looked forward to reading the emails in reply.
Partly because of this, I had many more people than I would have ever imagined praying for me, even saying a mass for me (I'm not Catholic but I was moved!), putting me on prayer lists, and just sending me best wishes and positive thoughts.
Is this something your husband would like to do?
