    Been trying the welbutrin, but not working so well. Guess it cant hurt as I have already gotten cancer and got rid of it...LOL

    Used Wellbutrin instead

    I went with Bupropion (Wellbutrin) because there was a generic for it, thus it was cheaper. The important thing was, after 23 years I quit. I had used the patches to wean myself down so many times I lost count. I lost my flight medical. I quit when the government started taxing the loose roll-your-own tobacco. 

    I would sooner look at the smoking itself, than Chantix, Zyban or whatever. Smoking is, and has been named as a risk factor for any type of cancer you look up. 

    Given its chemical similarity to Chantix, I would look at cancer cases among non-smoking Wellbutrin users compared to non-smokers in general.
