Intimate relationship after BC

you know...it's enough that we deal with our scars of honor across our chests from this disease, but i am having issues in the southern region as well. It doesn't matter how much lubrication i use, how tender my partner is, it just plain hurts...right at the opening..pain, buring, and sometime a little pink afterwards. I know this is rather TMI, but has anyone else experienced this? I see my GP friday, hopefully she will be able to shed some light on the subject, but again, she isn't a cancer specialist.
thanks jeanne

my experience
Please let us know what your GP says. I had a few days of a LOT of discharge, clear, no smell, after starting Tamoxifen. GP did tests and they were all negative for infection. Then it quit. Then I had 3 days of unbearable itching. My intimate areas were dry but I don't know if that was from the itching or the scratching! Then it went away, with the help of rubbing on some Carageenan, made by Oceanus. Now, I'm OK. Geesh, what we do to our bodies, then have to live with.0
