Good news - CEA dropping!

CEA was 2 after surgery. Then I had a steady climb. But to be fair I had a lot going on that could affect that.
The day I started chemo 8.1 After tx#1, it only rose to 8.2 (early it was taking jumps of 2 every two weeks).
After tx#2 it dropped to 3.6!!!
I don't have results back from yesterday's blood work to see what I am after tx#3. Just maybe, I had inflammation issues due to multiple surgeries and infection between all that. Colon resection, port insertion, port infection, another port insertion. So maybe it wasn't cancer growing that was causing the rise? Or if it was, chemo is working. I'm feeling more confident about my upcoming Pet on the 15th now. I feel like I have a much better chance of remaining staged at III than IV now!
