My scans are CLEAR!

I sure wasn't expecting to find out the PET/CT results today since the test was this morning. But my GI surgeon who did the rectal scope exam this afternoon told me that the results were in and they were clear. I nearly fell of the chair then and there and starting a naked happy dance–but I restrained myself– until the hotel room. And I have a copy of the scans too! I love the Huntsman Cancer center! I see my medical oncologist tomorrow for some blood work check-ups (my blood work is almost all back in normal ranges except for eosinophils and some slightly elevated liver enzymes. CEA was 1.4) All that pooping today from the CT prep and anxiety of whether I'd poop during the scan and then the fleet enema well all is a dim memory (except for a bit of raw butt :-)
Thanks so much for all your support, love, prayers; words don't capture the hugeness of your gifts of care. I felt you all with me while doing the waiting game for this round of scans.
All the best, Leslie

That's great news, Leslie! I wish you could see the big smile on my face as I type this. As for the naked happy dance, mine won't be on youtube or anything, but the intent is what counts.
I wonder what you'd come up with if you searched "naked happy dance" on youtube. hmm.
Great news - now go celebrate!!
XOXO
