Stomach canccr eating after surgery

I have had surgery for stomach cancer and had 2/3rd of my stomach removed, luckily they got it all and I do not need radiation or chemo but will have another Ct scan in 6 months.
My problem is there is not much information out there on how to eat, what to eat or how to cook for this. If anyone has any suggestions or advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Take it slowly
and gradually, as my doctor said, starting with one cup a meal, 5-6 meal a day,
and if you are feeling good, gradually increase the amount, you may eventually expand the stomach to pre-surgery in a year or two. You are extremely lucky that the doctor got all, I'm guessing stage 0 or I?

Don't worry I have the solution for you Mary
I read your Story and I'm glad that the doctors were able to remove it from your stomach. My father Has stomach cancer, and last tuesday he had surgery from his intestines to remove the cancer because he couldn't eat. But he's doing much better now. It is very painful for us as a family.
I decided to put myself in a strict diet, because I'm afraid to get sick. I have a nutritionist that has 30 years experience working with a lot of patients. I bought an encyclopedia from her, called "Encyclopedia of Foods and their Healing Powers" and I was able to change my eating habits and my life, I now feel happier and energized. I think this is exactely what your looking for. I would definely recomend those books to you, because it tells you what to eat for certain deseases. And It also tells you what foods to eat or to avoid if you have cancer, or to prevent cancer. Is an excellent book. I don't sell the book, but I can give you the person's information for you to buy it from her.
you can email me at adinaiglesias@yahoo.com I will send you a picture of the books. Or you can call me at 562-674-88240 -
I am now 2 1/2 years post
I am now 2 1/2 years post subtotal gastrectomy following a diagnosis of Stage 1 cancer. I had 3/4 of my stomach removed.
I had difficulty eating as well as dumping syndrome for approx 18 months. Things have now normalized. Still need to watch sugar intake and avoid large meals b/c I experience fluctuations in blood sugars and dumping.0
