TASHA ?
Did you find out anything at wednesday's appointment regarding stopping the tamoxifen last week? Hope you got some good answers and can share them with us.
I for one have been sitting on the fence still reading and reading up on the pros and cons of taking any hormome type pill while I am taking an anxiety medication. Have prescription for it, but have not filled it yet.
Hope you are doing well irregardless of what doc told you on wednesday.

Thanks for starting this thread, Sgamtd. Tasha, I'm also hoping your dr. answered your questions and gave you helpful information on taking tamoxifen or not.
Me too, Tasha, did you get answers to your questions on taking tamoxifen.
Also what ever happened with the weird thing on your eye? Has it been looked at? And if so, what was it? Just me being nosy. Since I have all these weird growths all the time, I am interested in anyone else's. Odd, aren't I?

Well, you did just schedule the big one--for your mammo. So, it would be easy to forget this one. So, how are you, dear daft sod?0 -

So glad that it went away. I wish all my weird skin stuff would do that. The dermatologist I just saw sampled so many places. All but one were fine. I have to go back and have mohs surgery on that. It was a small sebaceous carcinoma on my jaw. I was hoping it was just an adenoma and that what he removed in the office was going to be it. We will be doing yearly checks for these and if I find any between visits I am to make an appointment and come right in. This is all part of the Muir Torre Syndrome which is a sub set of the Lynch Syndrome. They are setting up a colonoscopy and endoscopy after the holidays and I will be doing this yearly also. But the good thing is that they will do them together under light sedation. It's the same prep so why do it twice. Then I will be good for a year. And I still plan to dance with NED after my oncology visit cause this little skin cancer is going to be history and it is not something to fret about. So there! NED better get his tap shoes out cause I feel like doing an Old Soft Shoe.
Tasha, did you really forget an appointment? I have done that and then I feel such a fool. So other than the memory lapse, how are you dear daft sod?

Hi Tasha- No you did not miss any appts. sorry that was my error. From now on when I read comments in threads I will pay more attention to the date of a posting.
I november I was "busy" finishing rads, then I was heading for my next step "Hormony therapy" and I started reading posts about tamoxifen, femara etc. and one LONG post started in September and still active in December had a comment from you that you had stopped tamoxifen and had an appt. to see doc and would post on Wednesday. I read all the posts in that thread and did not see a comment from you about the wednesday appt. so I asked about it in a new thread named Tasha ?
What I failed to do was notice the DATE of your post, it was dated Sept 4th, so an old comment by you, so sorry I screwed up there. Can I blame it on Rads brain ? or is there no such thing, lol.
