CT scan shows spot...scared

I've not had rectal cancer but did read that rectal cancer that reoccurs in the same area does not count as Stage IV. That's good news.
I assume they'll treat it all over again, same way.

Thanks for your kind words. I'm still nervous, but feel better this morning. I'm going to take it one step at a time like I've done since April 08. I'm calling to find out my PET scan date this morning.
Hi and thanks for any and all good thoughts. I had the PET scan yesterday. Doctor called today and said the spot doesn't appear to be cancer. I'm taking a big deep breath and sending out my gratitude. He'd like to do an ultrasound to find out what the spot is, but quite frankly, if it is not a recurrence, I don't care what it is!0 -
