Bunny Jane, your picture makes me smile. You are so brave and matter of fact about those drains! It was a BIG deal to me, those drains. I focused on that responsibility, as if that and that in itself was going to save me! Oy, yoy, yoy, my skewered perspective. Keep taking those meds and accept help from anyone and everyone.

good news. I wish you speedy recovery and healing from your surgery.
Do not think about insurance, rest is the most important event.

Praying for good news withBunnyJane said:Bilateral surgery was not too bad!
Hi All~
Thanks for all of your well wishes!
I had bilateral late Tuesday and came home Thursday AM. Surgery was uneventful- no suprises. I had previous lumpectomy, so we knew what we were dealing with. Of course, the proof will be in the pathology report. I am able to strip and empty the drains.
I have some interesting stories. Below is the first one.
Mail when I got home included one letter from my insurance company that said that the procedure was not covered and was not necessary. Then a second letter from the same health insurance company that said that the procedure was covered and a stay of up to 48 hours was approved. Interesting!
Praying for good news with your path report. Let us know when you can. Good to see you posting.
That is weird with the insurance companies two letters.
