I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!!!
During these times we realize how much people mean to us. I am very grateful that I have friends(more like my second family) on here that have helped me thru my mom's lung cancer. It was such an emotional roller coaster like everyone else being a family member of a loved one with cancer. I was fortunate enough to have my mother here for thanksgiving. As some of you may recall my mom was dx. with lung Ca stage 3 in Germany in May and she had to stay there to get treatment due to no insurance here. My mom is cancer free and the doctors gave her the ok to fly home yesterday. I was able to keep my mom a hush hush from my sister and other members of my family to reveal the big surprise of her showing up for dinner. My sisters face showed it all. (She was unable to go to germany last month while I was able to be there for my moms last chemo treatment, and tests to see if the cancer spread to the bone.) I am so thankful to God and everyone who has prayed for her.
I want to extend my gratitude to everyone and I wish everyone that is going thru cancer the very best and I want you all to beat the word Cancer. God Bless Everyone!! I will keep you all in my prayers. Keep your spirits high and be tough to fight you can do it.
Love,
Sonja
