Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
My question is really about hyperbaric oxygen treatments. I want to know if anyone has had any experience with them after going through radiation? I am asking because my dad is claustrophobic and is not to fond of being stuck in a little skinny tube for a couple hours each day. I have seen a picture online of a chamber that is larger and has seats for several people to sit in and even watch movies but I don't know if this is the norm. Also, please educate me as to why they are doing them in the first place....I think it's to make the teeth stronger? So if you have had any experience with HBO treatments please let me know what it is like so my dad can better prepare for it! Thanks!!
Thinking positive!
