Edwina lost her fight

I was searching for things about my friend Edwina/MsEddie when I found she had posted on this board. I'm sad to tell you that my dear friend lost her battle with ovarian cancer on Monday, 11/16/09.
Edwina woke up with terrible pain on Thursday and went to the ER. It turns out that she had a perforation in her bowel or colon. The obvious repair for the perforation was surgery, but Eddie and her doctor decided not to do surgery. From there, it was just a matter of time. I got to spend time with her in the days before she died, and she kept her hysterical sense of humor to the end.
I will miss Eddie.
Her loving friend, Lee
