I am a caregiver and my husband was diagnosed with this and he had 2 tumors in his throat. They removed them on Oct 1st with a tube through the mouth and said he needed his voice box removed and some lymph nodes in the neck even though all tests did not show any cancer after the surgery. The tumors were below the voice box. He elected to have chemo and radiation only. They say this is a very rare cancer and very aggressive. Is there anyone out there that has gone through this type of cancer in the throat and can ell me what treatments they had?
